WOODNOTES Summer Highlights

The concept behind Woodnotes products is to combine artistic creativity inspired by Finland’s rugged nature with technology, to shape Finnish raw materials: wood and paper. All Woodnotes products reflect the spirit of sustainable Finnish design: simplicity, harmony and functionality.

WOODNOTES Summer Highlights

We have been enthusiastically preparing some delicious new colourways for our In/Out rugs: a warm welcome to discover the new designs at the Habitare Fair in September!

First, however, let us enjoy the summer season. This year, we find ourselves in two distinct Finnish settings:

At the Lempäälä Housing Fair (Asuntomessut), taking place from 10 July to 9 August, our rugs and selected furniture pieces have found a home in Kannustalo’s Villa Niitty – quiet textures woven into the rhythm of everyday life. The house, designed by interior designer Helena Karihtala, is shaped as much by light and materials as by its walls. If you’re in the area, we warmly welcome you to visit.

At the same time, Fiskars is buzzing with exhibitions and events, as it always does in summer. As part of the parallel programme of the Fiskars Village Biennale, we are welcoming visitors to our summer showroom at Nikari’s workshop, located in the country’s oldest machinery workshop building. We hope to see you there onany Friday between 10:00 and 18:00 (Peltorivi 13) until 14 August.

NB: As is our summer tradition, our production will be closed for summer holidays during weeks 29–32, and our Helsinki office will be closed from 17 July to 3 August.

Wishing you a wonderful summer!
